What are the standards for hospitals equipped with ambulances

The allocation of ambulances should be based on the population needs, hospital service radius, medical rescue and other tasks in the jurisdiction, implementing full coverage, reasonable layout, nearby transportation, effective linkage, and timely treatment.

For example, a secondary hospital should be equipped with an Ambulance for every 100 beds. If there are three or more ambulances, at least one emergency (monitoring) ambulance must be equipped.

A tertiary hospital is equipped with one ambulance per 200 beds. If there are three or more ambulances, one to two emergency (monitoring) ambulances must be equipped.

At the same time, hospitals can increase or decrease the number of ambulances appropriately based on the service radius, service population, workload, ambulance visits, etc., but must ensure the pre hospital emergency and medical needs of the unit.

Professional medical institutions, non grade medical institutions, private medical institutions, and other medical institutions with emergency tasks shall follow the above standards for medical institutions of the same scale. The above is the standard for hospitals to equip ambulances.
