The heat insulation materials commonly used in refrigerated car heat preservation vehicles mainly include polystyrene foam, polyurethane foam and extruded polystyrene foam.




(1) Polystyrene foam. It is a microporous honeycomb structure foam material obtained by heating pre foaming expandable polystyrene particles containing low boiling point liquid foaming agent in the mold. Only the bonding process can be accepted to form the insulation layer for the carriage. Popular polystyrene foam is used as the thermal insulation material for refrigerator cars, and has been carved out in western countries; But due to its low cost, individual small factories in China are still using it. The thickness of the insulation layer of the refrigerated car is determined by the usage requirements of the carriage and the selected insulation materials. If polyurethane foam is used, its thickness is 50-120mm for refrigerated vehicles; For insulated vehicles, their thickness is 30 ^ -100mm. If polystyrene foam is selected, its thickness is usually 20% more than polyurethane foam. (2) Polyurethane foam. It is currently the most widely used excellent insulation material. Its main physical and mechanical properties are: thermal conductivity of 0.03W/(m&bu11; K), tensile strength of 2.5GPa, compressive strength of 2.OGPa, adhesive force with steel plate of 2.9GPa, adhesive force with plywood of 1.4GPa. The main factors affecting the thermal conductivity of polyurethane insulation material are foam density, bubble diameter, bubble self force rate, humidity and temperature. The polyurethane foam is made of isocyanate and combined polyether in a ratio of 1:1. It can accept filling, pouring, spraying, bonding and other processes to form a car insulation layer. Due to its low heat transfer coefficient, good insulation performance, high strength, and good processability, it is suitable for injection molding
