Factors affecting the thermal insulation performance of refrigerated trucks

At present, people's demand for fresh food is increasing, and refrigerated transportation is the main way of transporting fresh food. In the case of demand for fresh food, the demand for refrigerated transportation is also constantly increasing. Currently, the main refrigerated transportation methods in China include road cold storage transportation, railway refrigerated transportation, air refrigerated transportation, and waterway refrigerated transportation. Among them, road refrigerated transportation mainly uses refrigerated trucks, and the insulation performance of refrigerated trucks directly affects the quality of refrigerated transportation. Highway refrigerated transportation places great emphasis on the thermal insulation performance of refrigerated vehicles, and the thermal insulation performance of refrigerated vehicles has become a key focus of research and development in China. The insulation performance of refrigerated trucks is influenced by various factors, and it is necessary to choose appropriate materials and manufacturing processes from multiple perspectives to ensure the insulation performance of refrigerated trucks. Therefore, studying the influencing factors of the insulation performance of refrigerated trucks can not only effectively improve their insulation performance, but also have profound significance for the growth of refrigerated transportation.

The main methods of refrigerated transportation

1.1 Road refrigerated transportation

Highway refrigerated transportation has the characteristics of high reliability, fast speed, and strong naivety. Compared with other refrigerated transportation methods, it can cover a wider market and is very suitable for medium and short distance cargo transportation. Moreover, road refrigerated transportation can reduce the number of loading and unloading of goods, making it the most common refrigerated transportation method nowadays. The commonly used road cold storage transportation equipment mainly includes refrigerated trucks and insulated material trucks. In normal circumstances, refrigerated trucks are commonly used for longer transportation distances, while insulated material trucks are commonly used for shorter transportation distances. Refrigerated trucks need to keep food below 18 ℃ during transportation.

1.2 Railway refrigerated transportation

Railway cold storage transportation has a long distance and a large transportation volume. Moreover, railway refrigerated transportation has strong adaptability and can be carried out 24/7, with characteristics such as safety and continuity. However, railway refrigerated transportation also has certain drawbacks, requiring limitations from stations and tracks, resulting in poor transportation efficiency. At the same time, railway cold storage transportation needs to be carried out according to the railway operation time, and the delivery frequency is much lower than that of road refrigerated transportation. In addition, railway refrigerated cars have good airtightness and thermal insulation, equipped with ventilation, refrigeration, heating and other devices, which can adapt to weather changes in different regions and fulfill refrigerated transportation obligations.

1.3 Waterway refrigerated transportation

Waterway refrigerated transportation has low energy consumption, low cost, and large carrying capacity, making it suitable for high-density and long-distance cargo transportation, and is the oldest mode of cargo transportation in China. However, waterway refrigerated transportation is greatly affected by transportation speed and operational limitations, resulting in poor transportation reliability. When the transportation destination is not close to the waterway, it needs to be compensated with road or railway transportation.

Overview of refrigerated trucks

2.1 Insulated compartment body

Refrigerated trucks require the installation of insulated compartments as specialized vehicles for refrigerated transportation. Most refrigerated trucks are composed of insulated compartments, car chassis, cabin temperature recorders, refrigeration units, and other components. For refrigerated trucks with special transportation requirements, aluminum alloy guide rails, meat hooks, ventilation slots and other components can be added. The insulation box of the Refrigerated Truck directly determines its quality, and the performance of the insulation box mainly depends on whether the insulation box material has a metal thermal bridge,
